After a 20-year career as a nurse, Tara was profoundly transformed when she was introduced to Himalayan Master Yogiraj Siddhanath and the practice of Kundalini Kriya Yoga. This powerful meditation not only brought Tara a sense of peace and purpose she had never known but also ignited a deep belief that it holds the key to the very answers we seek—for love, peace, health, and prosperity.
Tara now dedicates her life to sharing this transformative practice, and she's here to support you on your own journey toward inner peace.
Meet Tara at various locations throughout the year. See the Mission and Events page for more details.
Som has been a devoted practitioner of Kriya Yoga since 2018, a path that has led her to the presence of Himalayan Master Yogiraj Siddhanath at retreats in both America and India. She feels immense gratitude for discovering these transformative techniques, which have blessed her with deeper spiritual stability and cleared karmic benefits. She looks forward to sharing her journey with others, and in her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, staying active, and providing a loving home for foster cats.
Sonia's life took a profound turn in 2010 when she met Himalayan Master Yogiraj Siddhanath at a New Life Awakening retreat. At the time, she was struggling with significant mental and emotional difficulties. The regular practice of Kundalini Kriya Yoga, which she embraced after the retreat, proved to be an amazing and wonderful tool for her own healing.
Sonia now deeply believes in the power of this practice, not just for herself but for all of humanity. As she puts it, "Master Siddhanath has developed a simple breathing technique with wonderful benefits suitable for modern people. Kundalini Kriya Yoga is for all people of any creed, caste or religion." She is passionate about the idea of spreading peace both within and without through the practice of Kriya.
For more than 50 years, Pat dedicated her career to nursing, and for over three decades, she volunteered as a board member for various nonprofits. Throughout her professional life, she explored many self-help classes that included meditation, but none of the practices truly resonated until she discovered the Siddhanath Golden Lotus Meditation in February 2019. She was immediately drawn to its simplicity, finding that the focus on breath was both easy and effective.
Inspired by Himalayan Master Yogiraj Siddhanath's presence and radiant peace at a retreat in July 2019, Pat began to practice Kundalini Kriya Yoga regularly. This practice has brought her a profound sense of calmness and peace, and it has even improved her sleep. Pat now wishes to encourage everyone to cultivate the discipline of meditation and experience its life-changing benefits for themselves.
Rufus, a retiree from the technology industry, now dedicates his time to personal fitness, youth advocacy, and spiritual awareness. His commitment to community service is deeply rooted in his family values and his experiences with his church, grandparents, and relatives.
His journey with meditation began in the 1970s with Transcendental Meditation (TM). He gradually drifted away from a regular practice until early 2018, when he attended a Siddhanath Golden Lotus class in San Jose, hosted by Tara. The practice resonated with him so deeply that he was initiated into Kriya Yoga just a few months later, in April 2018. Today, Rufus shares the gift of meditation by teaching the Siddhanath Golden Lotus Meditation at the East Valley YMCA, helping others find their own path to inner peace.
After being introduced to Kundalini Kriya Yoga in 2011, Brian's life was transformed. He quickly fell in love with the practice and became an integral part of the community. At his very first event with Yogiraj Siddhanath, Brian was moved by the Master's profound aura of peace, which he describes as palpable and purely energizing—an experience he had never felt before. This powerful encounter motivated him to deepen his practice and solidified his belief that the Kundalini Kriya Yoga lineage is truly special.
Brian has attended retreats on the West Coast and at the Yogiraj Siddhanath Forest Ashram in India. He has been leading workshops in Portland, Oregon since 2014, and now, he leads the Kriya Yoga Group practice on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Brian feels honored to work with other dedicated seekers and hopes to inspire everyone to find the ultimate truth within themselves.
